What is Robinhood Chain?
Updated 6 October 2026 · about a 3 minute read
Robinhood Chain is a fast Ethereum layer-2 built with the Arbitrum Orbit framework (chain id 4663). It is EVM-equivalent, runs the Arbitrum Nitro stack, posts its data to Ethereum as blobs, and uses ETH for gas. Because it is cheap and fast, it is a practical place to launch and trade coins. RIFF is a launchpad built on it.
A layer-2, explained plainly
A layer-2 (L2) is a separate, faster chain that settles to Ethereum. You get Ethereum-grade security at a fraction of the cost and latency, because transactions execute on the L2 and only compact proofs and data are posted back to Ethereum. Robinhood Chain is one such L2.
How Robinhood Chain works
It is built with Arbitrum Orbit, the framework for launching chains in the Arbitrum ecosystem, and runs Arbitrum Nitro for execution. It is EVM-equivalent, so the same Solidity contracts, wallets, and tooling that work on Ethereum work here. Transaction data is posted to Ethereum as blobs (the EIP-4844 data format), which keeps fees low, and gas is paid in ETH.

Why it is a good home for launching coins
Launching and trading on Ethereum mainnet is expensive; a fast, low-fee L2 makes small trades and quick launches practical. Blocks are fast, gas is cheap, and because it is EVM-equivalent, the familiar Uniswap V3 and ERC20 standards work as-is. That is why RIFF builds here: a coin's market can be created and locked in a single, affordable transaction.
RIFF on Robinhood Chain
RIFF is a permissionless launchpad for fixed-supply coins on Robinhood Chain. Every launch mints a fixed 1 billion supply into a Uniswap V3 pool with liquidity locked from launch. See how to launch a coin or read the FAQ.
